Still gives me goose bumps!
Well you work to earn a living
But on weekends comes the time
You can do what ever turns you on
Get out and clear your mind
Me, I like football
And there’s a lot of things around
But when you line ‘em up together
The footy wins hands down

What is life really about? Sometimes we ask ourselves that question at least once during a lifetime. I asked myself this question yesterday, the day before and now today as I am writing this, I still question myself. Is life about how we’re created? One small cell that develops into what we are now? Is life about populating the world, creating more so that our genes gets passed on? Is life about living it to the max? Going out at night? Doing drugs? Gaining experience from what we do the mistakes we make and learn from that? Or are we all actually aiming for that just one goal. That’s to find the perfect partner and have a happy ending. As a kid we all looked forward to our birthdays, Christmas, holidays and sometimes even going to school because we get to see our mates or go to our favourite lesson. From a kid comparing to teenage and to an adult prospective view, there isn’t much of a comparison. We all want to have fun whatever we’re doing. As a kid we want to have fun playing with our toys we received at Christmas, as a teenager we want to go out and get drunk with our mates, sharing that special moment and reflect to it as we get older, And as an adult sharing those special times with the one that we love the most and we’re willing to put our lives on the line just to see them succeed in life. But do we ask ourselves; what is the point of all of this. The world, being created, growing up, dying. What is the point of being born? Growing up from being a baby, turning into a teenager? Then get to an adult? At the end all we’re going to get is a life that sometimes we desired and sometimes we hate. As we’re born, we are given jobs automatically. As a baby we’re meant to grow, As a kid we’re meant to learn, to enjoy our time as a kid, As a teenager we’re meant to prepare ourselves for the future, ensure that we learn so one day we will have a decent job so that we can support a family and as an Adult we can live long enough to see our children graduate and tell ourselves that at that moment we are good parents because our children now can look after themselves, can earn a living doing something they love, have children of their own. But what we don’t know when we’re a kid or a teenager is that life is full of obstacles. Some people like to find their way round them and some like to take it as a challenge and go through it because once they have done so they know they could take the whole world on.
. But there are different types of obstacles that will trap us inside our own mind. Losing someone we loved is one type of obstacle that, us, human beings, finds it hard to get over because now we realise that this person’s gone. That person won’t be there when you need him/her the most; he/she won’t be there to share your laughter or cries with. What makes it worst is that you think to yourself what do I do now? There’s no one else who’s like him/her. All the memories we shared, all the things that happened and that we went through together, is this part of life aswell? To endure a lifetime of suffering every time his/her name is mentioned that brings flashbacks. To get over someone that you know you needed to get through this life is hard no doubt about it. Losing this person is one thing but finding this individual is so hard to do. How you met, what you had in common, how you would start conversations with them and wouldn’t finish for hours,
Your writing is good especially for a first timer.
You start off well by putting up some questions and then guiding the reader through your observations almost answering the question you provoked. It would be brilliant if you coudl come up with a good conclusion too. not necessarily an answer but some way to round it off, incase this is where you intend to end it.
Every peice of writing according to me should in the end should lead to some idea, answer, reach a conclusion or even a leave a question. In your case you could say that you end it with a question, but I would say that you started off with the question really. Any written piece according to me must build up to something at the end.
Now that all this naturally flowed out of you … come back to this peice someother time and round it up in some way.
Positive side: Very direct writing, clear and to the point. Very thoughtful too. You have been able to verbalise something we all must have realised at some point but never could articulate. You coudl do very well.
All in all a good job, scope for improvement but you sure do have it

I am ready to untie the dock lines and sail into the sunset! From Canada to the Caribbean then the Med! How can I earn a living?? My boat is pretty self sufficient, I only need about a $1000 a month living expenses. (I have a boat maintenance/repair emergency fund) I’ll rent my house out but that will only pay for mortage and upkeep. Other then that I’m debt free! I could stick around for a couple of more years, but I want to take my doggy with me. If I wait that long, he might be getting too old to make the trip. BTW I am told there’s no work for teaching english as a second language where I’m going & I refuse to charter. PLEASE…no internet pyramid marketing scams or surveys! I’ve been desperate enough to research them all! . But I am open minded about legit online business. Unfortunately there would be times that I will be away from the net for 3 to 4. I have been pounding my head against a wall for 3 years looking for answers!! SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME!!!
Build up a buzz abut the journey – discover something/follow some route etc – anything to have a newsworth purpose to your journey. My suggestion is sponsorship. Ellen Macarthur got around the world with it and got a knighthood (called dame for females)
Also arrange with local radios, magazines etc to make reports etc. Follow the exploits of "Around Ireland With a Fridge" and "500 Mile Walkies" for the kind of ideas.

Just make it an event instead of a bum around the Caribbean.
Also could you get your expenses down a bit – they still seem a bit high!

I live in San Diego, I have tried YahooJobs, Monster, SignonSanDiego, and many others. I need something to help me earn about $300 extra a month. I have computer experience, cash handleing, and much more. I don’t want a job at McDonalds though. I can only work weekends and nights. I already have a full time job.
Maybe how I make extra money part time off the Internet, just might be of interest to you:
(1) Probably the easiest way that I make a little extra income is by doing simple things like surveys, and "reading emails", etc. I only spend about an 1/2 hour a night doing this and I make over $300.00 a month doing this!!
(2) I sell items on a local auction site and on Ebay. I started off by selling items "odds and ends" that were around the house that I no longer wanted and then buying things from garage sales, flea markets, discount bins at local stores, etc. or sell the larger items locally, less shipping charges etc. and most of my customers will gladly pick up the items. Sometimes I buy items from the local site just to sell on EBay. You can get the same type of information that some people offer for sale just by checking out the Ebay site for free! I average $250.00 per week doing this part time!
(3) It takes a little time and effort but if correctly done correctly, having your own website / blog can be a great form of steady income. That is the best thing about the Internet, it is open 24/7 and available worldwide and you can make extra money even when you are off the computer. My best month so far was $1738.28 without even touching my website.
Please check out these links first and then email me if you have any further questions

I want to earn for a living but I am a newbie in any on-line business. I did attend some related courses, however, I still couldn’t quite understand how to work on it. Hope anybody can give clearer instruction as I have been unemployed for over a year and I am going to have financial difficulty soon.
I will try to answer your main question in the order you have asked it.
1. The answer to your question whether you need to create a website for affiliate programs, the answer is NO. You don’t need to have a website to promote the program you have joined.
So how can you do that? There are lots of ways to spread the word about your product on the internet such as by online advertising, signature files.
If you want to know how this can be done I would advise you to look at the various free strategies in 8 quick-and-easy Action Steps of online promotion here:
http://6thpillar.sitesell.com/netgains2.html
As for recommending an affiliate program, I would like you to have a look at a program related to above. It is one of the best one around which not only rewards you with high commissions but teaches you how to earn them.
Look at it here:
http://affiliates.sitesell.com/netgains2.html
2. Now to answer the second part of your question – whether you need to create a website and how to do it — as I said above you don’t need to create a website for succeeding with affiliate programs.
But having a website does help and in a big way if you aim to sell or promote products on the internet.
Now making a website may not be that difficult. You can perhaps put up a few web pages in less than an hour with the free resources available on the internet.
However you need to have a website that works. A website that makes sales and earns you money. This requires some effort on your part.
Here is a resource with lots of helpful hints and info about the topic of making an earning website:

Hope this helps.
Good luck

My friend joined up as a rating the Royal Navy and has left after five years (ish), a fully qualified computer technician, and is now making a mint basically doing exactly the same thing he was doing in the Navy.
I want to join up as an officer in the Army, preferably an infantry or other front-line regiment. Do soldiers in these roles learn a trade or is that just for the Engineering/ Logisitcs corps etc? Is the only skill that paras or guards etc learn, ‘how to fight’?
Also how does this differ between officers and soldiers? You don’t see many ex-Captains earning a living as a plumber…what do they do when they leave?
Finally, if you’re an officer, do you have the right to carry on using your title after you’re discharged? We occassionally get our neighbours post, addressed to ‘Major MacWillis’ even though he retired ten years ago?
Thanks!
You won’t learn a trade, but you will gain valuble experience in management as an officer, no matter what branch you join. Also, the higher you go, the more contacts you make in industry.

I’m a young woman supporting other people and a rented house. I need to know if there are any online jobs that i can earn a living from…I am a gifted writer, and was hoping there was something along the lines of freelance writing or something. I hope someone can help me with this as I am falling deeper into financial trouble and cannot find employment in my small hometown. I need something legit – I’m not looking for a get rich quick scheme, i am prepared to work for it. I have spent days searching the net looking for something and have found nothing. PLEASE HELP
Mademoiselle,
It seems like you have a lot on your shoulders right now, and I really feel for you! What I do might not be a perfect fit for you, but it’s working well for me so I feel good about recommending it.
I’m a consultant for the Pampered Chef company. In other words, I own a home based business selling cooking tools and I receive a commission from my sales. This company has been in existance for more than 27 years and has an excellent reputation for both ethical business practices and high quality products. In my experience it has been both profitable and really fun. (Let’s face it, my job is going to parties!)
Starting up with the Pampered Chef is not free, but it is very reasonable. The new consultant’s kit costs $155 and contains products to use in demonstrations, training materials, and the business supplies that you will need to get started.
I do not think that it can pay your rent right away – it takes some time to build up a customer base and fill up your scheudle with shows. What I do think is that this could be a good source of supplemental income to help hold you over while you continue to search for a day job. It will also provide some security in case your day job dosen’t work out. Given time, a Pampered Chef business does have the potential to support your family and pay your rent. The consultants that I know who do it full time spent about three years building their businesses before they could quit their jobs.
If you would like to talk to me or get any more information about the Pampered Chef opportunity just send an email to heatherkrey@rcn.com. Even if you don’t think that Pampered Chef is right for you, send me a note anyway. Many of my friends work for various direct sales companies and maybe I can help you find one that is a good fit.
Good luck & God bless you!
