I go to high school in Cali.I want to learn French and take advanced classes. I am familiar with nuvhs.org.
Check with the community college that are near you because you could take some college courses and have it credit for your high school and college units. Where I am from, that’s what some of my friends did when we were in high school!
Also, use ASSIST.ORG to see where your credits transfer to a four year college. So that your not wasting time with taking a college course and not have it count.

I am a high school teacher but now I want to teach in a college or university? I cannot quit job and I cannot move from here. Any suggestions?
the problem with a Ph.D via distance learning is that it may not be seen as respectable for a university to high you.
Ph.D’s typically require first hand research and require that you interact with an advisor, peers, etc.
my best bet would be on night classes. if you are willing to teach at a Junior College, you only need a Master’s.
I have two associate degrees from a local community college and a few college credits from another college. I need a bachelor degree to land a better paying job.
Does anyone know of a major university that offers an adult or continuing education program that would allow me to combine the credits from my two associate degrees and additional credits with having to take more than 1 or 2 semesters (10 or less classes) to complete my bachelor degree either through distance or online learning?
If anyone knows of a credited university or program in which would allow me to earn my bachelor degree as mentioned above, I would be very appreciative of your help (answer).
Any major university should be able to help you with this, you just need to decide where you want to go. When you apply to the university, you will need to submit all transcripts from other places to see what can get transferred. That’s great that you have two associates degrees, and that should pretty much get you clear of 1st and 2nd year of a bachelor’s, depending on the classes that you took and how they would apply to the major you choose. It’s also good that you have some additional college credits; I hope they are 3rd or 4th year major classes – this will help. I seriously doubt that you will wind up with enough transfer credits to get you down to only 30 hours or so, plus most universities will have a minimum number of hours you must take at that university for them to be able to award you a degree – but this could be around the 30 to 45 credit hour mark.
Seriously, contact some advisors at the major universities closest to you. They should be able to help you and probably even guide you to a major that all your credits would apply to.

I use to be a contracter in IT and shortly after 911, I found I was doing less contracting to the point I only worled 2 days a month. Without going into detail, I ended up learning how to trade the markets and it was the best decision I had ever made.
If you are genuinely interested in learning to trade then be aware day trading is very difficult as it requires discipline, consistency and experience. Most novice traders go straight into day trading and subsequently lose money and join the 95% of traders that do not make money.
A longer term stance gives you a much better chance of success so if you go and join any courses, steer away from day trading courses until you are experienced and emotions dont take over.
If you want to learn to trade from a fundemental aspect then it will require more time to learn and put into practice your strategies. From a techincal methodology you can see results sooner as most techincal traders do not look for investments unless accompanied with fundamentals.

I am looking for the right school where I could learn online. The subjects that interest me are Business, Accounting and Computers. One area in computers that looks interesting is Certified Microsoft Office Technician. I have looked into online colleges to find that there are prerequisites such as math and english. I am also not interested in earning a degree but might also be interested in those courses leading up to one like the subjects that are of interest to me. I have also tried a google search without all that much luck. Has anyone ever come across any of these schools?
Minot State University – Bottineau offers a ton of online classes in the areas you specified. They are a traditional campus that also offers online classes. You do not have to obtain a degree to take these classes. This college is an accredited university as well.
Being located in North Dakota, the tuition is lower than most and online classes cost the same for everyone no matter where you live. Here is a link to the list of classes that are offered.
