Is it true to say this?
Why is business important?

Yes. Absolutely. Businesses make products that you and I and other businesses buy. If we aren’t buying things, then the businesses don’t need employees to work. If they don’t need employees, then they lay them off. Then, they don’t get paid, they buy less from other businesses, those businesses lay people off etc. However, if the businesses grow, then they spend more money and hire more people. Then, those people get paid, buy more things and then those businesses hire more people. Yes, we have to have businesses and growth in order for the economy to to strong.

This is a very simple explanation…but absolutely. Gross Domestic Product or GDP as you here it in the news is the measure of economic output. If this number declines, we enter a recession.

Everything in best interest of client.

Those are the 3 strongest!

People are bombarded by offers. Make sure you give them the headline about why yours is special and stands out. If it doesnt, time to re-evaluate business model.

We have a website selling our products but just now we are realizing that we did not concentrate on online marketing yet. To be honest, still our sales depend on the other offline marketing strategies which are really good at the moment. Now we understood that we do have to focus of Online marketing to increase our sales. But we really stuck up on where and how to start with? Should we hire an online marketing person or find a Consultation Company? Which is best?

Difference between market segment and market niche…..

A market segment is usually considered to be a very broad area. For example, let’s say I produce LCD TV’s. I have just tapped into the Flat Screen Television Segment (some also include price in the segment, it’s pretty varied). Now, what if this LCD TV cost’s $10,000 and is made for animation companies. Then I have just tapped into a "niche" (i.e. a specialized area where it is possible to dominate). Tapping into Niches are important to some companies because here you can sell high margin products and sometimes have a monopoly over this small market. Small niches are also less volatile than an entire market segment.

There are so many niche markets in the internet. How can I find one that really could attract targeted buyers?

Is there a right way to answer this question?

10 years ago the Internet was mainly about technology. That’s just not the case anymore.

How can you find the right niche for you?

1. Determine what you like. I just did a silly search on Google for "underwater basket weaving" (with quotes) and found that there are 35,900 people targeting that specific keyword phrase. So it really doesn’t matter what you like or what you are good at. On the Internet you will be able to find an audience.

2. Create a free account with http://CJ.com where you can find "hard good" related products to market for most any niche.

3. Create a free account with http://ClickBank.com and look for related E-book type material that your audience will find of value.

So most any niche will work. Just make sure it’s a niche your going to want to be working for the long term.

I find it very hard to work with my wife on a little business project we have. She takes it too seriously, and just won’t lighten up. Then if I don’t support her, she attacks me or uses it to say our marriage is poor – seperate issue in my mind. I just feel if we are not on the same page, how can the business grow? We both work full time and must make time for our home life and personal interests, but she is set on having a shop even though we do not have the money. My question is – is it better to not work together if it puts too big a strain on the marriage? Will she accept it if I say I have had enough of the backbiting and belittling? Or…how can I make this work?

Any relationship is based on effective communication and that is what is needed in your case. If you are into going for walks then you should take her out for a short walk and talk out thing in a gentle way. It helps sometimes to talk things over outside home in a different yet refreshing surroundings. You both have the goal to make your business work for you guys so explain to her that you both need to approach it wisely and with fresh minds. If she agrees great, if not you should both decide to put it to a halt at least for some time and come back to it when you can both communicate on the subject effectively and without being nasty to each other. All the best!

I am looking for suggestions about niche markets that you believe should be filled e.g. i am very tall(6’8) and average build, even so i find it hard to buy clothes because as the length increases the width is too big

cafe/restaurants that sell healthy children’s meals , instead of everything with chips.

We have been doing online marketing for "real estate" clients over the past 4 years. I would like to branch off into other niche markets. Anyone have any suggestions as to what markets would be good to consider? Or maybe an exhaustive list of niche markets to explore?

I don’t know of any website offering an exhaustive list of niche markets to explore. Niche markets are something you have to find for yourself; many when they discover a niche immediately put a stake on it as theirs. Why share a profitable niche to others? Niche by definition is a specialized market, and your goal is to have as few competitors as possible.

Given your business experience, what do you think are areas in your industry that have not been tapped? Are there any needs that are currently not being addressed? If not in your current industry, is there anything that you need but no one is currently giving it to you in a way that you want to? Ask yourself these questions — and then that’s your niche.
